Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our digital services, membership site and software products ("Services") on the Everyone Needs a Grandma website. By subscribing, accessing, or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use this service or under direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Billing & Payment Terms
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually. You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically until you cancel. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Taxes and Compliance
Our digital and subscription services are provided from Canada. Prices are in US dollars, and do not include any sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes that may apply based on your location.
If you're located outside the U.S., you are responsible for any local VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes.
We do not currently register or remit sales taxes outside of the United States unless legally required. By purchasing or subscribing to our services, you agree that you are responsible for complying with the tax laws in your country or region.
We reserve the right to adjust our tax collection policies as laws evolve or thresholds are met.
Cancellation & Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, access will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellation of your subscription will result in the forfeiture of any grandfathered or promotional pricing. Re-subscribing will be at the prevailing rate in effect at that time.
Any remaining credits will be retained inside your account should you decide to resubscribe. We reserve the right to adjust this policy at any time.
License & Acceptable Use
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services for personal or internal business use only. You may not share, resell, or otherwise misuse the software outside of your immediate family or organization.
Prohibited Conduct
- No hacking, reverse engineering, using bots to automate use, etc.
- No using the platform for illegal or harmful purposes.
Service Interruptions
We strive to provide continuous access to the Services; however, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Occasional maintenance, updates, system failures, or factors beyond our control may cause temporary interruptions.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any interruption, delay, data loss, or inability to access the Services, regardless of the cause.
Beta Features
From time to time, we may offer access to experimental or beta features, tools, or services. These beta features are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis and may be modified, discontinued, or removed at any time without prior notice. We make no guarantees regarding the performance, reliability, or continued availability of beta features and assume no liability for any issues that arise from their use.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, tools, branding, design elements, software, and documentation provided through the Services are the exclusive property of Everyone Needs a Grandma, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Everyone Needs a Grandma, LLC.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We provide the Services "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Modifications to Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the City of Toronto, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
